16 Apr 2007 As part of the commemoration of the bicentenary of the Abolition of the Slave Trade Act 1807, Eric has been involved in launching a new online educational resource for Learning and Teaching Scotland on Scotland and the Abolition of the Slave Trade.
The website is aimed mainly at pupils in upper primary and at lower secondary and will assist teachers to raise awareness of slavery issues.
