The Scots at Sea
Start :
25 Jun 2004 (All day)
Type:
TV BBC Scotland
With 18,500 kilometres of coastline, and the sea lochs and firths cutting deep into the land, no Scot lives further than 45 miles from a tidal shore. Making a living from the sea, seafaring adventures, emigration, shipbuilding, foreign trade (legal and illegal) and tourism have played their part in shaping the history of the Scottish people.
