Robert Reid Cunninghame was an entrepreneur and life-time Manager of the Stevenson Coal Company 1770-1814.
A detailed account of his stewardship of an enterprise which was an important example of the early industrialisation process in Scotland, and of his legal battles with the Warners of Ardeer and the Montgomeries of Eglinton.
